Susan Uzunoglu trained as an esthetician (beauty therapist) in London, UK. Driven by a sense of adventure, she brought her education and experience to the US where she continued to refine and perfect her skills. In 1985, with a clear personal vision of just how she wanted to pamper and serve her clients using some of the finest products available, Susan took the leap and opened her own salon in downtown San Mateo.



The salon is tucked into an (almost) private courtyard located between 3rd and 4th Avenues.There is ample parking on the street or in one of the downtown parking garages.



Susan European Beauty Therapy offers pampering European facials that include face, neck and shoulder massage. Susan uses 100% pure, natural, preservative-free products by Jurlique. All facials and waxing are offered in the welcoming comfort of private rooms.
